  1. Nothing changes Johann just the same as ever, apart from I'm on yeti no4 now a 1,4tsi l&k. Welcome back enjoy your new wheels.
  2. Nice to hear from you Freshacer, always thought your yeti's where brown most of the time anyway
  3. Very nice Marie welcome home again, enjoy your new one x
  4. The tailpipes are standard fit, the only extra was the mud flaps moved over from my last Yeti, could not be bothered to remake my longer flaps
  5. Welcome back Marie, one of the famous carry on team lol, not long to wait this time enjoy your new Yeti

    new owner

This hairy great lump fits in with room to spare, rear bumper top covered with clear protector. and seats left in place.
  7. If your yeti is a 59 plate it could be the air con pipes that run up the bulkhead in the engine bay, I remember posts about this and how to fix it way back in the early yeti days. A forum search may bring the posts up, as for the second noise I don't recall anything like that being posted before.
  8. Take it to be looked at, I had the 1.2 years ago and we had a drive around Yorkshire very steep hills and the lowest gear I used was 2nd, the 1.2 is not under powered. It could even be down to the timing chain being stretched, if it is from the time of the problem chains, maybe it's the reason the first owner got shot of it. When started from cold is there a rattle from the engine for a few seconds if so it is the timing chain.
  9. I find trial and error work best for me .
  10. Have you tried the voice control, it can be used on all functions radio nav phone. Presss the nav button on the radio then the voice control on the wheel and it gives a list of commands, but is basically common sense commands, works well and saves pressing loads of buttons lol. Press radio or phone and it works the same way as the nav, love it so simple. But I wondered why it would not work the phone at first lol, then found out you have to press the phone button on the radio first, then found the rest work the same, OK I will RTFM one day, only on yeti number 4 so maybe next year I will read the manual .
  11. I have a clear Skoda one fitted and it covers the top and over the edge about 15mm, had no problems with the dog scratching the bumper. should be in the Skoda accessory catalogue that's where I found it.
  12. Your windows will stay open, they have removed the auto close, tested mine and the sunroof and windows stay open even with a hose on the censer
  13. No such setting anymore it's been removed, think it was removed with the MY16 change.
