  1. Thanks for the replies. Getting Xenons on the Karoq wasnt an viable option for us. The SE Tech doesnt even have them lol. She got a really good deal on the SE and the SEL etc are well into Tiguan money 🥴. Looks like we will have to stick those halogen ones in 🙄. She was happy with the light output from the standard bulbs. Just not the colour. I have fit HID kits with perfect beam pattern before tbh. Seems to depend on the headlight design. If the headlights have caps over the end of the bulbs (Mk5/6 golf etc) they seem to give a better beam pattern. But they wouldnt fit with the Karoq bulb holders either 🤦🏽‍♂️. Not used LED headlight bulbs before.. wont be again
  2. So my missus has just swapped her old Seat Ateca SE Technology (with LED/ xenon headlights) with a new SE Karoq. She loves the Karoq.. but hates the "yellow" halogen headlights. I ordered a pair of LED H7 headlight bulbs with seperate resistors for bulb warning lights.. (and LED sidelight bulbs to match) but the headlight bulbs don't fit. The headlight bulbs are held in using these plastic brackets (see pic). The 2 pin connector is part of the bracket (not a seperate plug like on the slightly older VAG cars). This means the usual decent LED headlight bulbs with seperate resisors don't fit. I have since fit some of the cheaper H7 LED headlight bulbs (see pic). They look good (nice clean white not chavvy blue) but the beam pattern is non existant so they just dazzle and dont light up the road. The ad said they had Can-bus resistors in them but they put the bulb warning light on aswell. I have removed them now. Has anyone found a decent bright white H7 bulb option that fits in the Karoq headlight bulb holders and doesn't put the bulb warning light on?
  3. Only got 1x front splitter left + a rear estate splitter **no more mk2 fabia hatch rear splitters**
  4. Random one but can you get this kit or similar to fit a 2008 3C Passat Highline with a RCD310? It already has steering wheel controls if that makes a difference
  5. 1 set sold so only have ONE set for the mk2 fabia hatch (1 front spoiler + 1 rear)
  6. Retails at £180 Will fit on all mk2 facelift octavias except VRS/ Scout £70 collected from Wakefield/ Leeds.. or can post (probably around £20 postage)
  7. That is how they come (in skoda packaging with fitting kit) Also this is the Estate rear splitter. The one pictured is painted body colour but i think they look better with the centre black.
  8. I have a couple of *Brand new* genuine Skoda accessory front + rear splitters. These retail at £140 and £150 + vat each. I will take £70 each (for 1 not a pair) collected (Wakefield/ Leeds) Or i can post for extra (i imagine around £20) These splitters fit straight onto standard bumpers (not VRS or Monte Carlo) I can also get hold of 1 Estate "combi" rear splitter aswell Matt
  9. ***Will take £3700 for this if gone this week***
  10. I put a DTUK tuning box on it in my ownership but removed and sold it last week so it is the standard 170bhp now.Cambelt was done in 2012 at 90k so isnt due again untill the back end of this year or 190k.. I am a VW techy tho + I work at TPS currently so could supply + fit a genuine full cambelt kit for you now for the price of the belt kit + a small labour charge Obviously i would need a diposit 1st.. probably be around £4000 including cambelt kit/ w.pump fitted if gone 2day/ this week?
  11. He/ they were prosecuted after I bought the car and had done it to a string of cars. They forged all documents to match including the MOT and unfortunately stamped the service book with false records etc so the service book was used as evidence so I dont have it.. tbh the car looks + drives like the 80k car it was sold as to the previous owner. If gone today I will let it go for £3700 but I wont drop it lower than that. A rare chance to pick up a well specced VRS for a really good price
  12. Ye thanks m8.. Its a really good car + has served us well and i would happily have kept it for a long time if i hadnt just bought a VW T5 as i couldnt resist the spec Anyone with a sensible offer? Im running out of space and getting sick of messers on Ebay already lol!
  13. When you clock a modern car you also have to change the miliage in the Engine ECU so the miliage is the same in all C.units.. i have VCDS and i am a techy.. thought about clocking it back to 150k but the MOT history still shows up as 135k then 80k so would still have to mention it :-/
