Hi,
I had a new oil presure switch / sennor replaced. Drove it away from the garage and then it went off again and did not turn off.
This worried me and then I went had an oil pressure test, and came back OK, (lucky I thought) May be the senor not been a Skoda version.
The technician at the garge came back in sorting out payment and then said it fixed. The pin was bent so the senor worked the worng way.
On the version of the Haynes manual it not in there and it the coolent sensor, If you like a new water show for a second then dont try it.
my car is a skoda Comfort 2000 1149cc and the oil senor is at the front of the engine and easy to get to, but becareful because there is other sensor near there.
