  1. I've only got 1 photo of my vrs and I've had it since June lol And my old girl. Still miss her now :(
  2. Well £62 later faintree Skoda have sorted my Vrs out. Pay and display ticket in the fan motor. Epic fail!!!!
  3. Bump to the top... Take it no one has had tho happen. Hoping Skoda don't try and invent some story why it isn't a warranty job. Seem to be a lot if posts on here just lately where Skoda are trying to brush of warranty claims
  4. The mrs started the car the other morning switched the climate on to which there was quite a large bang/snapping noise and now there an annoying rattle when the climate is on and the air flow doesn't seem as strong. It's going into Skoda on Tuesday (on warranty I hope 62 plate) Anyone else had this happen?
  5. My 62plate CR is returning about 40mpg now the weather has cooled down. In the summer it was reporting 44-45 and doing about 500miles on a tank. My wife mainly uses ours for school and shop runs as I have a van for work
  6. Got a FL Vrs Octy at the moment and things are getting a bit tight in the back for the kids. Our clan consists of an 11 year old not in child seat, 4 year old in isofix booster with back and baby who soon due to go into second size seat. Is the yeti any wider across the rear? And if so by how much?
  7. Floating voltage caused by neutral faults can find out weak components and appliances in a customers installation. So if your socket connection was making a ever so slightly bad contact the affects of a bad neutral value would brake it down even further. We quite regularly send out engineers to monitor supply quality for high/low volts, neutral/earth values and flicker caused by customer generation (neighbours solar panels) or dirty load (big motors/welding equipment in factory's
  8. As said before in the thread it sounds like classic neutral fault. Even if your neighbours haven't had the same issue (could be on your service) still call your DNO and and tell them you think a neutral fault may be developing and they will come and do an earth loop test on the neutral
  9. Just done this my self. Main router>1st powerline plug>2nd powerline plug>second router Turned off the DHCP server on second router and gave it a static IP and identical wifi settings of the first router apart from the channel
  10. My setup at home is auto backup from smartphones/tablets/PC via wifi to local NAS running 2x 2TB drives in raid 1 (mirrored) which also has an installed app which syncs selected folders to Dropbox. Call me paranoid but we had a drive failure a couple of years back and nearly lost 10 years of pics holidays/wedding/kids ect. So now I take no chances
  11. My Mk1 leon cupra use to mist up. Haven't noticed it in my 2012 VRS.....Yet...lol
  12. I'd love hill hold in my 2012 man CR VRS if it could be coded. I have it on my 2010 transporter manual 4motion and it is a god send starting off on steep muddy fields
  13. My 2003 leon was hit by a taxi in the snow in 2010. The final repair bill came to £2600 and as it was over Xmas I had a hire car for 3 weeks. The car was probably only worth 4k at the time but they fixed it. Before Looking good again before I sold her
  14. 3 years back I paid 320 for my cambelt and water pump on my 1.8T leon cupra at Skoda autosales in Wolverhampton
