Help! My EPC (Emissions) or CEL (Check Engine Lamp) is on.
Red_VRS replied to cjb's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Im have a simular problem with my VRS, my light comes on at 66mph and go off sometimes when i fill it with diesel :S. Im thinking a loose connection as I drove down a reasonable bumpy road this morning ad it went off. Any ideas what might be loose? Cheers guys -
Wasnt covered by my 1 year used warranty from skoda, so I fixed it myself with unibond. Wasnt impressed with original sealant mind as it was more like foam

Passenger door card / speaker vibrating...
Red_VRS replied to KarlO3V5's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Yep had a similar problem which I think (fingers crossed) I ve cured. The rattling/vibration was coming from the puddle light in the door car. I would start there. I put insultating tape around the light box to prevent it from touching the inside of the door card or alternativily get some insultating foam from Halfraud and use it too deaden the vibration. -
Afternoon Newskoda She has probably got you on the handling front unless you have had your VRS modifed, but engine wise nope she hasnt a chance the Ford is heavy the engine is old and was carried over with some modification from the MK1 Focus. The 1.6 is a better engine with almost the same power but better MPG. Quite like the new RS though :p

Been on here about two weeks pretty much since I got my Fabia VRS. Great car, not as good a handler as my focus. But the low fuel bills (60+ Mpg) and that addictive mid range torque make up for it. The only thing Ive got a to sort out is the rattling door when the bass is turned up. Trip back to the garage I think.......... Anyway if anyone sees a Red VRS racing between Blandford and Winchester that will be me. Cheers all and great forum James
