  1. Just tried the Blaenent Street & The Green, Duloe in mine & found both no problem. Have also been to France a couple of times recently & had no problem with Eurotunnel terminals, just checked again & CT18 8XX works fine. Had previous problem searching for addresses in Wales (& France) until I remembered to set the correct country.
  2. Activated it on my late 2014 Scout with OBDeleven; used the long coding provided in the sticky & info in another thread on here.
  3. Yes, some of them can be pretty monstrous, moths, spiders & large flies have all set mine off in the past. I regularly work in woodlands with the rear hatch open get all kinds of stowaways.
  4. Depends a lot on what you typically carry. Thought a flat load space was important so specced the variable floor on my first Scout but found the underfloor storage was rarely used. My car is loaded with work gear most days so was just a hassle to get to anything underneath the floor. Current car was pre-registered & didn't have the variable floor, appreciate the extra usable space & haven't missed the level floor.
  5. Mine is Nov 14 registered CRMB engine - dip stick number 04L 115 611 F . Hope that helps.
  6. Or check the build codes on the label in the service book or sticker on the boot floor. For my Scout - 2UB = rough-road design, not sure if its the same for other models.
  7. Had one replaced last year after somebody ran in the back of mine. Wanted to continue using until the insurance paperwork sorted, £107 fitted from local dealer. Thought that was pretty reasonable if you take into account time taken to source a fit one from a breakers.
  8. MK2 had levers on the back of the headlight units to flatten the beam but not on MK3 :( 'Simply Clever' ? Didn't think to check before I upgraded mine from MK2, just assumed it would be the same, minor annoyance as I do several trips to the continent each year.
  9. Not possible to easily change Halogens; Xenons can be set to continental mode from the vehicle settings screen in infotainment.
  10. On my Mk2 Scout, not sure about other models, it was possible to reach up underneath the bumper to push them back in. Had to resort to some new self adhesive pads to prevent regular recurrence. Mk3 had been fine until somebody drove into the back & I had to have new bumper . One of the sensors dropped back inside after a month, impossible to access from underneath, bumper has to come off, took it back to the bodyshop that did the original repair. Sorted while I waited but took over an hour, sensors are simply stuck on so easily dislodged. They reckon bumpers are supplied complete with the sensors so blaming Skoda.
  11. Fairly common to need a top up, several t hreads on here e.g. http://tinyurl.com/y893qx6r My theory is that cooler overnight temperature will drop the level enough to trigger a warning. There have been issues with water pumps so monitor the level after top up & back to the dealer if it drops again.
  12. I experience the same, eventually realised bad reception coincided with charging my phone with a cheap adapter in the lighter socket. Reception seems to be particularly sensitive to electrical interference so phone chargers, dash cams etc unless very well suppressed will cause drop outs when when signal is weak. See this thread.
  13. +1 Easily done, wipers need to be 'parked' on the middle of screen before they can be folded back for cleaning. If the wipers are then operated / ignition turned on before putting them back on the screen they will scrape the edge of the closed bonnet.
  14. That's how mine is as well, does the job even it looks a bit feeble.
  15. Either of the above could be possible, have a look here for more info. Downloaded update & installed a few weeks ago & is working fine but did have to do the 4k segment re-format of the SD card, used Firefox but browser is only used to install Skoda updater which then manages the rest of the process, so doubt that is the problem. Wouldn't be the first time a dealer has it wrong.
