  1. Hmmm that’s interesting, I tried all combos when on RWYB challenge and found shifting earlier got a better run
  2. Looks ok but why using the whole 7000RPM? You’ll hit peak around 5000-5500 and start to tail off so would be worthwhile shifting before redline.
  3. I liked my H&R 40mm springs, made the car sit perfectly IMO
  4. I had a Revo "Panel" filter on mine, made not a bean of difference. Choices would be to remove the "sock" over the standard filter or upgrade to the ITG kit.

  7. So VW are going to sell the new Polo by telling people what it really has been running the last few years anyway! We all know these cars do 0-60 in a lot less than the brochure claim
  8. Sorry I linked the 215 rather than the 205, but to be honest, you might as well stick wider tyres on. Hardly any (if any) price difference plus better grip.
  9. Sounds really dodgy IMO. Could be forgotten to order, or they accidentally sold it. Either way they sound like a bunch of cowboys, I'd get your deposit back and go elsewhere
  10. Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta all day long. Budget price with amazing grip http://www.camskill.co.uk/m54b758s103p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_17_inch_Vredestein_Tyres_Car_Vredestein_Ultrac_Sessanta_-_R17_inch_-_215_40_17_215_40R17
  11. I used to have a TMC tuning box on my old vRS and it was great. Yes it was a micro chipped controller box that connected to a few sensors and just intercepted the signals and adjusted them but gave good power. The warranty argument will always be out there on tuning boxes, everybody has their own opinion and that's fine. I had my engine done under warranty, I had used the box for about a year by the time it needed doing, the service manager was aware of modifications I had. In all honesty, unless your ECU has to be sent away for testing by SUK or VW a lot wouldn't turn away the warranty work if you had a tuning box or remap. All dealers get paid to do the work from SUK, it's a large part of their business and they make enough so it's no skin off their nose if they do it on a modified car. Agreed with the comments though, you should never not declare modifications, you're just asking for trouble. If you want a tuning box, why not, it means you can have the power while you have the car and make some money back once you've moved on.
