  1. I think it's probably burned 2.5l in 10k so not that bad. I don't have a tesco near me... I used to put v power in but it's a 40 mile round trip for fuel,,. Bad enough getting for my race car lol I was thinking in middle silencer out and that would be it... Not really want to tinker too much.
  2. Mines is Sp11 vaa... If you owned it and had problems... Let me know that will be great! It's running great just burns a bit of oil... What one doesn't though!
  3. yeah I bought the car from specialist cars skoda in Aberdeen... Got a cracking trade in deal so had to do it. I live closer to maud than Aberdeen and I had my last vRS serviced at maud all the time. He's sound knows his stuff and doesn't bull ****. First time I dropped my old fabia vRS in he said that's not standard is it? Lol
  4. I wanted to keep the fskodash but now a days it doesn't really matter I don't think. I was about to buy fully synthetic valvolene what I use in my race engine.
  5. That's usefull info thanks. Yeah I was going to change all filters, fluids and spark plugs. I may as well take it to my local skoda dealer and get him to do it since there ain't any gearbox oil to change.
  6. Hello, Had a quick scan for any info can't see any... If anyone with info or a link please send it my way! Got my self a 11 plate vRS with I think 30k on it now and looking to give it a big service including dropping gear oil. has anyone done gear oil change? I had a quick look can't see a how too and I beleive it isn't as straight forward as dropping and putting fresh in.
  7. Challenge = Fail! I leave everything last minute lol. The discs are correct, pads are different. However... Can get pads today but I don't have nor do I know what type of thread the caliper mounting bolts are.... Can anyone help? I think the pads will come with 2 but I need 4!
  8. I ended up past the scrappys with a mate today... mk4 golf GTi there... Hoping it's the same kind of pads!
  9. Hows it going folks? No one has standard front discs and pads lying for a mk1 fabia vRS that they don't need? Trading in times
  10. Hello, Trading in my Fabia vRS for the mk2 Fabia vRS.... I want to take my front 312mm off the mk1 but I don't have the discs and pads for standard calipers and carriers.... Anyone tell me the disc size and type of pads needed... Pictures would be best! One of my mates is changing the discs and pads on a 1.9 audi A3 and I was thinking they might be the right size for the vRS but clueless! Cheers, Andrew.
  11. Lol What he said^^ a sharp pull will get it free!
  12. Well sir... your a really good accountant! I'm just a Gas Turbine Technician! ;-) This time last year I topped it up thought I was doing good to the car... that bloody night I hit a deer! :-(
  13. Your a star! Looked to see if I could do it myself but had no luck! Your right! I honestly thought it was MK1 I clicked on but oh well sorted now You know what my problem might be ;-)
