Keyless Entry Error
Hi all, Within the last week my 2017 L&K Superb has developed a 'Keyless Entry Error', with constant warning noises which is driving me crazy! Have done a quick diagnosatic scan and have come up with Code B117013 - "Front passenger Access/start system antenna , Open circuit". The other error I think is probably just due to the battery being disconnected last week. Has anyone come up with this problem before? A quick Google suggests its the front passenger door handle but not sure if it could be a bad connection or the antenna itself? I'd rather not have to purchase a complete new handle if I can avoid it! Thanks, Dean

Citigo AC Condenser pipe - A Kings Ransom..
Hi all, Back to the group after several years away, now a 2 car Skoda family! The AC on the wife's 68 plate Citigo had recently stopped working, and we had it regassed with dye as my local independant garage thought there could be a suspected leak. It turns out that there is, however it appears to be coming out at the junction of where both the condenser and the lower AC pipe meet. Not wanting to have to potentially do the job twice I was thinking about replacing both. I can source a replacement condenser relatively cheaply, however as I couldn't find the Skoda PN for the pipe I called TPS and was quoted 278 plus the VAT! Would anyone be able to confirm the VAG PN for this pipe? For a length of aluminium tube it sounds excessively high, and wondered if it were available elsewhere! I 'think' it may be 1S0820741B, but what I do know is that it's the lower of the two AC pipes.. Thanks Dean

Coming back to Skoda - DSG or Manual?
Hi All, I've been away from the marque for a few years (I have an Audi A6), but my next planned change will be back to Skoda. I'm seriously considering a 2017+ Diesel Superb (L&K if possible) - but I notice most of the ones available come with the DSG box. I was going to go for a manual, but are there any downsides with this auto? My Audi has the 8 speed Multitronic CVT box and it's clutch packs are on the way out, and with expensive (£250) 20K mile transmission oil changes, I thought a manual was the safest way to go.. I'm almost scared to consider something not manual! Is the relability good, are the oil changes painfully regular and expensive? Any advice greatfully received. Thanks all..

Swing Radio - Maximum SD Card Size
Hi All, Does anyone know the actual maximum addressable size for an SD card that can be used in the Swing radio slot? I read on a thread that someone had used a 128gb card, but was wondering if anyone had tried a larger capacity one? Thanks Dean

2017 Citigo - To buy or not to buy
It's had 1 owner since new in 2017, but not been MOT'd in about a year as it appears to have been unused since last November. It wouldn't have any MOT history anyway as one was due last November - around it's 3rd birthday. My only real concerrns were regarding the engine and box, everything else was in really good condition.

2017 Citigo - To buy or not to buy
There is no MOT history! The first MOT should have been completed late last year but still hasn't been done. This in conjunction with my thoughts of it being a driving school car, and perhaps it not being used in the last year due to covid restrictions, may have an ounce of truth in them perhaps? I may ask the dealer to give it a service as part of the deal. I can't find anywhere online with any concerns about the 1.0 MPi engine in general.. assuming as its a VAG derived power plant it should be pretty bullet proof?

2017 Citigo - To buy or not to buy
Hi All, Just after some advice from the knowledgable amongst you.. The wifes old Audi wont pass its next MOT, so we decided that it would be better that she go for something small and economical instead of a diesel burner as she only does around 5K miles per year now.. There's a couple of Citigo's in our road and we quite like the look of them so decided to do a little research and came up with a prospective candidate. It's a 67 place Colour edition with some nice extras, however it urgently needs front brake discs and pads. It's done 34K miles. Now here's the rub; 1) I spotted some light scratches and the faint outline of an oblong mark on the roof along with old suction marks - combined with the worn our brakes, I'm suspecting it may have been used as a driving school car. 2) It has NO history at all. the local dealer said it came in with the book pack but no receipts etc. I called Skoda and they confirmed that service history on these is digitally stored since 2014, however it's never seen a manufacturers dealership since it left Progress Skoda in November 2017. 3) Apart from a couple of very light marks and the roof could do with a mop and polish the car appears very straight. The interior is all good with only light usage marks and it drives on the button, very quiet engine and smooth gearchange. and it seems to get down the road very nicely. The prospective price has been beaten down by a few hundred quid from the screen price (which is pretty competitive for a car of that age and with that spec) and the dealer said he'd MOT it and replace the front brakes, My question is - what would be your opinion on basically buying a car with a potential history (or lack of) ? It'll also come with 6 months warranty. Thanks for your time. Dean
