  1. Few months ago I bought this one: Pros: - longer than original Skoda bars - custom fit distance - very silent - easy mount - can be used on other cars - price paid (95 EUR) Cons: - not so stylish as original Skoda bars.
  2. My Yeti is finally ready for winter. Tyres: Continental ContiWinterContact TS 830 P (205/60 R16 96 H) - 412 EUR / 360 GBP. Wheels: MSW 22 6,5 J x 16 ET 45 - 320 EUR / 280 GBP. Mounting and balancing: 25 EUR / 22 GBP. All together: 757 EUR / 662 GBP. A very good deal, I assume! M.
  3. Fantastic idea! Details of clips attachment if possible, please :p . M.
  4. In my country (Slovenia) it is very important and wise to get (pay for :S) official approval of different tyre size than officially Skoda approved, to avoid the risk of no insurance refund in case of accident or being punished in case of police control due to technically inadequate vehicle. M.
  5. I'll go the same way - the size 205/60 R16 suits best for winter tyre in my oppinnion (as long as there are no chains used!). I really do not understand why Skoda is omitting this size as approved, neither for summer or winter tyres. M.
  6. There is quite a difference in windshield angle between Superb and Yeti, so maybe glare is enhanced by the steeper angle in Yeti. M.
  7. I should agree, but not tested yet - no freezing from middle April. Must wait till October or November or travel to high Alps M.
  8. My suggestion is to try (see) it first (if possible). M.
  9. It's all OK, the supplied battery is a Varta 12 V - 60Ah - 280A. M.
  10. My 1.2 TSI Experience has optional heated windscreen. It's may first car with this equipment and I find it rather annoying, especially when driving against the sun and at night - the heating grid creates sparkling-like effect in sunlight and sparkling-star-like effect from incoming lights at nigt. Do you have the same observation? Maybe my vision is just too sharp M.
  11. Yes, I'm in build week 15, too. Yeti 1.2 TSI Experience + many extras (not panoramic sunroof) was ordered on February 3rd. M.
  12. Tony, najlepša hvala za odgovor (Tony, thank you very much for your answer). Ali si morda Slovenec (Are you maybe Slovene)? OK, I won't worry any more and I hope the manufacturer is aware of this matter. Lets be surprised M.
  13. Hello to all members of Briskoda community! I am expecting my Yeti 1.2 TSI Experience (muscovado ) + optional equipment in one month (it is confirmed that the car will be put to production line in week 12). According to info from my dealer the battery in the car will be 44 Ah. Now I am asking you for help: is this battery powerfull enough to serve all consuming parts (Bi-Xenon lights, heated front windscreen, parking assistant, Bolero radio). I find this battery rather weak for the jobs mentioned. Any oppinion or suggestion welcome. Best regards, M.
