  3. Nah dude there fine I've sorted that issue when I brought her
  4. Lovely cheers dudes!! Girardi nice to see another southamptoner on here!!
  5. Had the same issue at work with an Audi A4 2.0 tfsi worn the high pressure fuel bucket and chewed into the cam shaft traced the fault the begin a failing oil pump gear drying the top end of head up! New oil pump and camshaft and bucket later all ok but that was mega ££££ begin main dealer etc! Sadly I don't know of any spares going dude but as for using a S3 cam shaft that's the best way forward Hope this helps
  6. Timing belts are 4 yrs or every 60k but I work for audi and they say 5yrs 75k for same engines? But think I'd stick to 4yrs 60-70k really? And while your there throw a water pump at it for piece of mind as the plastic impellers fail over time! As for oil pick up never only change them on 1.8t engines? If I was you I'd do all the filters so you can start a fresh and then your no the next service is just a oil change! Hope this helps
  7. Previous owner to my wagon fitted terrible eBay white bulbs and are shocking it's like candles!! What bulbs are you guys using? I want whitish light that are good with decent range but don't want to be fitting zenons any thoughts??
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-1-8T-VR6-LUK-CLUTCH-G60-FLYWHEEL-/261252293617?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cd3d9a3f1 I fitted this on my vrs about 3 months ago best thing I did
  9. I think it's a gps aerial dude as has 2 connectors. I need a none gps one that sucks!
  10. Do you have aerial and base? Is it a none sat nav model? Cheers
  11. Yeah I'd change it every 60k or 4yrs but Audi change intervals are 5yrs 75k just depends on which you choose? Throw a water pump at it as well just to be sure As for the noise could be wheel bearing but they suffer with saw toothing of the rear tyres so check the rear tyres for the tread stepping this causes a wheel bearing type noise! Hope this helps
  12. Yeah the fitting I'm ok with it's just the map sensor pipe that's holding it up?
  13. Ok dude if it does stay then I'll have it as mine has snapped!! Cheers for reply
  14. Yeah dude think it is got it used from a dude on here
