Evening Dan, is you Skoda still a garden ornament bud? I'm getting bored of the Mondeo ST and thinking of coming back to a Skoda but a wagon this time as we've got a dog now.

Nice mate pop us a pic when you finish it looking to wrap the ST centre console and not sure what to go with as its a bit bland like the octy dash.

Wrapped bud just search ebay for sticker bomb wrap

Thanks Guys i loved it just brightened up the dull dash, not everyone's taste but the wrap was cheap and was nice to work with. The best way to do the corners on the surround is to warm it up with a heat gun and stick it to the underside of the trim. As its wrapped underneath it stays stuck.

The v6 gets the nicer recaro seats but fuel economy is harsh, which is why I went for the tdci.

I've had a look on there website and they look like they know fords. Will be getting in touch with them in the new year, xmas has just about wiped me out.

The replacement is here Just been to Newcastle and back with a lot of short runs and town driving in between and avg mpg was 45. Goes well enough and with a little tweaking should be able the get 195 bhp and over 400 Nm of torque.... not bad for an oil burner.

We both do mate the X5 is a road slug you need the thrash it to the red line to get it to shift. The mk2 is what I should have bought instead ah well live and learn, plus I'd always wanted one so that's 1 off the list. For the record I wouldn't have another.
