  1. On Facebook, Dark slide automotive in Hartlepool are advertising remaps for £60, just wondered if anyone's ever used them before. Good or bad? And if there's anything I need to look out for. And for just a basic map, is a pd160 intake needed
  2. You should declare everything, cos if you have an accident, if you're at fault then your insurance might end up void. If it's someone else's then their insurance might be able to wriggle out of paying you.
  3. Just want a replacement for quickness, rather than messing about rebuilding them. Where were they from, seen new 232s for 45, just means painting the new ones. Absolute con it's double for already powder coated green ones.
  4. One of my rear caliper has ceased and just wondering if it's worth buying a new/reconditioned or a used from a breakers as the other side is fine atm?
  5. Mine was 6k for 05 reg 35k miles jus over 2yrs ago
  6. http://skobiz.com/catalogues/SkodaFabia_Accessories_en.pdf found this a few weeks ago, tho the prices Czech Koruna
  7. Surely the whole topic should of been in a civic forum then!
  8. Sorry to jump in, Just wondering what people think would be a better option, type r or a leon cupra r. I know the cupra has 25hp more, but just overall.
  9. Have you tried ringing round scrapyards, anyone breaking on eBay. Did that on my last car, cost me less than my excess
  10. There are different types, with and without wear sensors
  11. Mine does exactly the same. The drivers side sometimes takes a few presses to go down, it stutters on the way down, then other times it is fine n goes all the way down on one press. Passenger side does the down instead of up, only seems to have happened after the i got it fixed when the window dropped n wouldn't go up. It does it for both switches (drivers and passengers), would it need both replacing or is it part of the motor?
  12. I had avon zz3 previous cos they were already on th car, so got the fronts replaced with them first and I had loads of problems with them. The sidewall on one of them blistered after only a few months. The tyre place sent it off to get examined and I got money back. Then I got recommended the vredstein, n I wouldn't go back. Don't think they do th sizes for spiders tho which is a shame when I upgrade.
  13. Got vredstein sportrac 3 on standard alloys, never had any problems with them.
  14. An right, sound. This sounds fairly reasonable to some of the the stories I've read lol. When you say drive it as you would standard, does that mean pretty hard through 1st,2nd,3rd. I've been advised not to get it mapped cos I have quite minimal mechanical sympathy n it would just ruin my clutch.
  15. Tom, do you have a standard clutch. If so has there been any problems with it?
