  2. Great thanks, its not going to be head ache i thought is was.
  3. Yeah that what i thought, the pins only locate and serve no other job once bolted down. I'm just abit worryed how they got bent in the first place.
  4. Hey guys, Just after a bit of advice. My clutch is on its way out, so going down the solid flywheel conversion route. I've Sourced the parts needed but have a problem with the flywheel. Two of the locating pins that house the clutch cover plate are slightly bent, one only just off by a fraction but the other you can see in the photos is bent to the outside. Is there anything I can do as the cover plate will not sit properly to bolt down. Has anyone see this before? Could I heat the pins up and try to straighten them? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Hey guys, Under hard acceleration when changing up gears the engine revs don’t drop off as quick as they should, it always over revs. Just wondered if this is a common problem and if its an easy fix. Could it be something like a sticky throttle body?? Any help would be great.
  6. Pick it up at the weekend, so hopfuly should be fine.
  7. Hey guys, I need to swap out my drivers side front door lock mech for my 01 octavia vrs and have found one at my local scrappy. The part number from and skoda dealer is: 3B2 837 016 Q but the one from my scrappy is: 3B2 837 016A Does any know if this will be a direct replacement with out any issues? I know they used these in mk4golf/ bora and seat leon's ect but just want to make sure if there all the same. Thanks.

  9. well I know that audi's for this year are 5x112 and skodas are 5x100.....just wanted to know if the mintex discs would fit both.
  10. Found a nice set of mintex discs and pads for a good price but there listed Audi A4/A6 v6 & Tdi 312mm 96-2001 Would these still fit? I know the PCD is different with audi but thought discs are multi hub as they have 9 bolt holes. Any help would be great.
