  2. But maybe going from a petrol originally then to the EV and back again class?
  3. Having owned both a Mk1 SE vRS and my most recent MK2 Fabia vRS i have made the decision to go back to the Ford scene which i came from. I have Bought a MK2 focus ST facelift. I've had some good reads on here and some help from other members. Until next time....... Matt
  4. Yeah i agree with what you say there.... im using Prosport coilovers, tbh there not too bad for the money. just for my commute i want something abit more practical but retain abit of handling.
  5. Just been on the ST suspension website and apparently engineered by KW!! http://www.st-suspensions.net/kw/info/kontakt/kontaktdaten/
  6. Has anyone used these instead of Bilsteins yet? Im currently using coilovers but for the mileage i do atm its a tad impractical so considering maybe trying these whats everyone's opinion? Cheers Folks Matt
  7. Im running Nitro plus atm with mine, they definitely have the straight line speed not really pushed it round a track yet but will see how it goes..
  8. That sounds like a plan before i start with the mods!
  9. yeah completely standard CTHE.. I'm pretty happy with what I ran tbhSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I ran a 14.55 at Santa Pod yesterday with a terminal speed of 94.64 MPH , running standard power with Avon ZZ5 front tyres and coilovers. 0-60ft 2.28secs.
  11. 2002 focus ST170 yeah?? No!! I don't think that spending £100 on a tyre is an issue for the vast majority of vRS owners, including myself. My question was how do the stated tyres do on a vRS and has anyone used them on a vRS, having previously used them on other vehicles. but anyway each to there own.
  12. Everyone has there own opinion on why they bought a Monte over a vRS. I bought a vRS myself and knew exactly what i was letting myself in for and that still didn't scare me i just didn't fancy a Monte. The Fabia in general is an ugly car both Monte's and vRS's but theres just something about them you seem to like, the MK1 was the same not a good looking car but something about them made you think yeah i want one!!! my opinion on what's killed it was the engine, VW made the mistake by using this engine and i think if they had developed a 1.6T like many of the Polo,Ibiza and vRS's rivals it may have been different or even a manual option but on the other hand the 1.4TSI is a good engine without its few issues. Not trying to offend anyone just my views on the subject
