I have a Shark remap. I checked with Shark months ago (before the VAG "Fix" was available) that if it the remap had been altered after the fix was applied, then they would reapply the map. Subject to having the original invoice. I had my Superb booked in but decided to cancel. The fix is is not a compulsory as it isn't safety related (apart from the emissions). So I agree wait until MOT picks it up. My Superb is always clean.

Had the 12v socket in the boot fail. Checked the fuse (26) in the side of the dash and OK. Tested the 12v socket in the centre and had a spark so this no longer works as well. Grateful for advice.

Just been going through the pictures of my old ED100. You've done a good job and it looks the business. I'm missing the old girl but hope to look at the suspension on the combi soon so may have to pick your brains for advice. ps The Combi tows a treat and I sometimes have to rein myself in when towing bot solo it pulls like a train.

I'll get some photos this week ( if it stops raining ). Is your Superb auto or manual? I was looking for an auto but yours ticks all the boxes so would not be a deal breaker. Not used to communicating through this site so if we decide to meet up can we communicate direct? Thanks ray

Interested in the car. I'm currently looking for for a newer superb. I have a 2006 Superb Edition 100, black1.9Tdi with a Quantum remap for more torque for towing. 81k on the clock, service history and the Skoda dealers offering £3k trade in. Had it for about 4 years. Had a problem with the roof mechanism. This was fixed and solar roof was working when sun shone. Had a passenger airbag warning light issue when I replaced the aircon fan and had that sorted. As we hadn't had much sun didn't expect it to work. Now we've had sun the fan isn't running when parked up. Spoke to guys who did sunroof mechanism and said they only disconnected the single plug and socket. So it may have happened when the airbag warning was reset. The sparky said there was a problem with the airbag on/off switch in the glovebox and a dodgy wire behind the dash. I will have a word with him but this seems an isolated problem as can find no mention of problems in the forums. Apologies if I'm missing a related topic.
