Have you checked cam timing?

I'm running a custom stage 1 map on a new oe valve without any trouble. They are supposed to be perfectly capable of anything a standard turbo can throw at them!

I had my air intake temp sensor (the small one after the throttle body) go funny recently and my fuel economy was awful! I replaced mine and it's a different car to drive now. I've heard of people cleaning them..

I've also got one of those, it's made by TRW the same as the genuine ones and is spot on.

I had this on my VRS. The lever on the caliper had partially seized and wouldn't return fully when I let off the handbrake. I pushed lever back manually and fitted the helper springs from Audi calipers but that only masked the problem. After about a month the lever had made it's way back down and butted up against the metal block and it stopped working again. I replaced the caliper with a new one off EBay send it's been perfect ever since. Only cost about £65 and was made by TRW, you can even see where the Audi badge would be if it had been destined for the dealer network!
