  1. Oh I see. Thank you for the clarification.
  2. When you say `given`, do you mean you weren't given a choice of different reg numbers?
  3. I'm using E10 and have noticed no difference at all.

Sounds like a fine option. Many thanks, `UndertheRadar`

Thank you for your input, `ckyliu`. Above is the sort of thing I was thinking of. That said, because I cannot find a `Professional Detailer` able to apply a proper Ceramic Coat (as in my original post) within a 50 mile radius, I have more or less decided to get a local Car Valet chap to professionally prepare my new car the best he can using Polish, Sealant and Wax. As I said, it wont be as good or as protected as my Skoda, but I'll have to live with that. Thanks again for you reply.
  6. Good Day, All. My current car was professionally `Ceramic Coated` with Gtechniq Crystal Serum with Exo from new. (with a 9yr guarantee) I'm changing the car very soon and am intending to again get it professionally treated from new. But, I'm unable to get anyone within the local area to ``Ceramic Coat` it and being as its a few days procedure I don't want to do all that traveling back and forth. So, I'm thinking about a `Ceramic Polish` instead which I can get done locally and at a far more attractive cost! It'll obviously have nothing like the longevity of the Ceramic Coat but I was wondering whether anyone on here had any experience of this Ceramic Polish` and could give me any tips. Many thanks. Mike.
  7. Hello, `IJWS15` Now, if you're suggesting that cars are being delivered with missing features due to `chip` shortages and the customer is not being pre-warned then that makes me kinda worried as I have a new car on order. Here's hoping that that isn't the case.
  8. Now, now I did not say you were `lazy`, I said to me you are a `lazy writer`. Totally different. Come-on, it'll only take you a few extra seconds to write the whole word and, apart from anything else, it'll look much better to the eye.
  9. Grrrrrrr, lazy writing.
  10. Blimey, how I hate reading this thread at the moment. Nothing to do with the subject matter. Just the lazy writing...does my bloody head in.
  11. Fabulous colour that. First post I've seen from Bahrain, are you in Manama?
  12. Never had this problem in 2 and a half years. Whenever I'm in the car the key is in my pocket inside a Faraday bag. Simple.
  13. Hello, Young Man, Nice to see your car and read your routine. Yeah I've had my Woolly Mammoth for 9 years now and as yours, still going strong. One thing...do you not use a drying aid (such as `CG After Wash`) on the wet car before drying? I live in a hard water area and water spotting is my nightmare and the above does help. As you know its such a big car and I need to get around and dry it ASAP! All the best. Mike.
  14. As `Skomaz` says, definitely something heavy from above as you can see from the collection of paint at the bottom of the gouge. Unfortunately at the very least initially the area will need to be filled and levelled to look anywhere decent. A professional job me thinks. Good luck, I hope it works out well for you.
  15. Maybe I should have paid more attention at my English lessons 65 years ago! BOT...E10 doesn't seem to have made any difference to my car I'm pleased to say.
