That was well worth the cost, I was quoted more than £200 for just a respray of a door.

Yeah found guide on changing the bulbs but not removing the projector lens. I will either ignore it or try my luck claiming it is a none serviceable component that is supposed to be sealed enough to stop insects getting in.

Picked up a used mk3 Superb three weeks ago. It has an insect stuck inside the headlight by the DRLs whiskers, did not notice till I got it home. Thought it would not be so hard to get rid of but now I am not so sure. Units are supposed to be sealed I think so might mean gasket is not fitted properly. It has two months original warranty left, seems a silly thing to take it to the dealers for but I do not want to be taking the headlight off the car. Even if you take the bi-xenon bulb out there is a lens in the way of the main void inside the light right?

Say you have a bike rack on the tow bar isn't this uncontrolled opening of the boot really bad? It's going to ram the boot right into the rack right?
