MilkyBarKid replied to XK140's topic in Parts For Sale
Hi mate, I'll have the rarb off you as I'm only in Mansfield. -
fabia vrs window madness...
MilkyBarKid replied to harcourt81's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
I had something similar to this. I rang my local dealer who told me to get a damp cloth and a smallish flat head screwdriver, and give the inside of the window rubber a good clean as the sensor might be picking something up. After a couple of goes it worked a treat... -
Chrome Alloy Corrosion 'offer'
MilkyBarKid replied to JimsVRS's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
I've had two full sets replaced under warranty in 2 years by my local dealer and actually encouraged me to pursue it before my factory warranty ran out. They also never had an issue with rim damage as they said spidering from the centre was completely unrelated.- 78 replies

Selling vRS -WBAC or trade -in PX.

2 days ago I was offered £8700 at a Nissan dealership against a 350z. Mines got 26k miles on an 11 plate. -
If you could get me the coding used it'd be much appreciated.

DAB radio, will RCD310 from a vw fit?
MilkyBarKid replied to eykmak's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
You should lose volume control on the steering wheel as the hardware is allegedly different. I did this in my mk2 vrs and I know have to use the headunit volume. -
Nope. Never sorted the volume control on the steering wheel - both skoda and vw claim it can't be done as the vw steering wheel has buttons for volume. I must admit I've got used to changing volume by the headunit, a small price to pay for dab.

The existing trim is a perfect fit so no need to buy anything different.

How easy would it be to get these in a mk2 fabia?
-
Yh it seems like they're making a push to sell it. I imagine it's one of the nicer cars they have there... What reliability issues did you have with it?
-
I think I've probably seen your old VRS on a stand outside Derby Citroen then on my way to work in the past few days.

It's only a 1.3cdti astra estate, the best thing about it is the extra space. After running it for 2 weeks I'm starting to think I'd regret selling the fabia.
