  1. My answer is as above except to add that it unlocks with a single press of the key BUT opens if you press and hold the button on the key. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. There's a lot of irresponsible talk within this post. Please think again. But having said that, if you're also the kind of people who have a phone attached to your ear whilst driving, why should you care? At least you'll be in a good position to phone the undertakers for your passengers and all because watching Star Wars was more important to you than they were. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Perhaps you should be more concerned about road safety? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No need to unfold them. It happens by magic all on its own.
  5. 3 works fine on my 2013 Superb II. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Let's hope they're right in everything they say. Can't see it though. As expressed earlier, why "cheat" at all if a simple software update is all that was required. Things don't add up here.
  7. As a company car driver I'm a bit stuck as the fix is required by my employer regardless of what I may like to do. In addition, not to have the fix carried out would no doubt influence my personal tax liability as a consequence of running a dirtier car. What a mess this is for all and a car cleaning kit is of little compensation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Quite right. Excess on many car insurance policies for a glass claim is £50 and it doesn't damage your no claims bonus. Therefore why pay £180 when you could get it done for the price of your excess?
  9. My original fix, which has worked well (so far) were these security screws purchased from Screwfix (UK based company) for 99p http://m.screwfix.com/p/easydrive-star-pin-button-self-tappers-security-screws-8ga-x-1-10-pack/3384h Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. 7. Don't buy a Skoda. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 10 year old tech that they still charge £2.5k to replace (plus the glass). Shame on you Skoda. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I too will give Skoda full credit for a successful alarm. However, the first time they were in and out with the unit in 20 seconds! I think I'd like to see more effort put into prevention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Integrated sat navs are not a problem when they are installed from behind the dash. The installation of the Columbus is like something from the 80s and has no place in a 21st Century car. Skoda should be ashamed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If you read what he said again you'll spot it. He said he was 99% sure it wasn't a 4x4. That means it could still be! I'm amazed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
