Struggled on two separate occasions to try and arrange an appointment to test drive and then subsequently order a car.

First time, I was fobbed off on numerous occasions that the person who could help would call me back. Finally after the 4th attempt, I gave up and went else where.

A few years later, renewal time and I wanted to try and do the same again (hoping that it was a one off) only to find the same happened again.

First time however, they had the cheek to send me a survey asking how things went. Some head honcho at the branch decided to call me up and question my response, as they felt it was an unfair assessment of the service I had received.

We bought a 24 plate Superb from Derek Slack in February. No high pressure sales and our best experience ever. The final hand over was completed by John Holroyd. On the way home from collecting the car we were hit from behind at a junction - not a good start. We let John know and he offered whatever help he could. Every thing was sorted by insurance with the other driver admitting fault. The only issue with the car was we couldn't register as the primary user. John came past our house after work but couldn't get it to work either. It was arranged that he would collect our car and leave his whilst their technicians fixed. The next day he returned the car, all sorted and everything as it should be. Derek Slacks is a family firm and their attitude shows. Ignoring the pun, their service was superb!

Picked my 66 plate Yeti up on the 21st December Got to say, as always, i am very happy with my purchase

When we went to see it they placed it in the showroom as it was dark outside, took the time to show my wife everything she asked about and were, as usual non pushy at all in any way

In total ive bought five second hand Skodas from them over the years and everyone of them have been totally reliable, in fact ive still got three of them.

I would certainly recommend them to anyone who doesnt want to feel pressured nor just a number
