I thought this thread was quite balanced, for and against, as things go, given that no-one likes receiving a ticket. It's worth having threads about parking fines IMO since the question of successful appeals seems to be a moot point currently. As said by another, parking attendants are doing their job to earn a wage. If drivers don't like parking restrictions, complaints should be directed to those who decide them. Mo

Jesus guys, jump off the band wagon... As Walkie says - they are human and just earning a living. Granted some are arseholes but name a job which hasn't got its fair share...? In my opinion - park illegally and you should get a ticket. Whether the parkign regulations in that area are 'fair' or 'useful' is not the point and certainly not the parking attendants fault. Its like the estate agents thread a few months back... Slagging people off with no reply does my head in...
