Hunting for the little surround that goes around the double din stereo but not having much luck. Anyone know where I can find one or even just what it's actually called?

Noticed a couple, if not all, the alloys on my Fabia Monte Carlo are a little buckled so get some minor vibration. Did look at getting some aftermarket wheels but ideally want to keep the OEM look. Does anyone know where I can get some new Trinity alloys? I realise I can get some from gumtree or eBay or whatever but I never really know how they've been treated. Otherwise, anyone have any idea for wheels that would look good? Tempted to go with the good favourite Team Dynamics 1.2.

Definitely different. Fairly sure the only two units that are straight swaps are the Amundsen and the Columbus.

Anyone had any experience or knowledge of 'upgrading' cheap lowering springs and getting decent coilovers fitted? Mainly in the terms of ride quality. I've had 35mm springs fitted almost since i bought my Monte in 2014 and doubt i could live with the stilts that are original springs but wouldn't mind better comfort (wouldn't we all!) Would i gain anything from getting coilovers at around the same drop?

Any updates to this? Cheekily asking as i want to know what it looks like with white wheels. Debating the same on mine

Wish I knew how to do it that easily, bulbs on the left went in about, about 20 minutes total. Standing here in the freezing cold trying to get the right one in. Is super glue road legal? Might just wedge them in, job done.

I managed most of it this morning, tried to fit the bulb back in and wouldn't fit so had to put the originals in. It's only when I got back in the house I realised there's a plastic cover over them. Wondered why they were so big!

Sounds like a challenge then. I guess I'll manage without then. Maybe move the fuel pump, sure that'll so smoothly.

How easy is it to remove and replace the headlights and bumper on a Monte? Looking to fit HIDs but I have fat hands and want to be as close to OEM as possible. Looking to hide the wiring and ballasts wherever possible so may as well take a day and do it.

Be interesting to see what the white wheels look like. Quite fancied doing it on mine.

Probably being a bit of an idiot here but how do you change the bulb in the boot? Pulled the plastic cover out but then there's another black box like thing covering the bulb. Admittedly I did only look for 5 seconds before giving up. Changed all the other bulbs without hassle.

Love the look of it, looks completely OEM which is a bonus but yes the price is a lot. But i guess you do get what you pay for.

The eonon unit looks pretty good actually, definitely a consideration. I'm guessing displaying information on the maxidot (GPS and Media) are possibly out of the question on most of these? Definitely want to go the Android route though. I have the Amundsen at the moment but just fancied an upgrade.

I'm looking at replacing the head unit in my Fabia and have my eye on the pumpkin units, they seem smart and most do what I want, few questions for anyone in the know. -GPS, Bluetooth media playback from phone and ideally hands free support too, anyone know which one best for those? -Do they work with the maxidot and stalk controls? IE clicking to change track -Are most of them plug and play?

Hi all, Looking to replace the headlight and DRL bulbs in my Monte Carlo to something a little whiter but just wondering what fitting they both are? Also, are there are any guides to replacing these? mostly the DRL bulbs as I have no idea how to get to them without breaking stuff.
