  1. Bear in mind they are pre-facelift so they are just a plain silver colour with no brushed effect.
  2. You're in luck. I was going to take them to the tip next weekend but I still have them
  3. Pulled from my 2008 RHD pre-facelift Octavia back in 2010 when I replaced them with L&K ones. Includes four door strips, passenger side dash strip and the two pieces from the dash either side of the steering wheel. Does not include the head unit / HVAC control surround. Free to a good home (i.e. you actually have a mk2 Octavia and will actually make use of them, not just store them or sell them). Just need you to cover postage cost. Merry Christmas Nick
  4. Set of 4 winter wheels and tyres, suitable for a Kodiaq or mk2 VW Tiguan. 215/65/R17 99 T £250 for this forum. I have them at £290 on ebay. I bought both the wheels and the tyres brand new around January 2019 for our mk2 Tiguan. The tread depths are mostly between 5.5mm and 6mm. Exceptionally even wear across all four tyres. The very lowest tread depth is exactly 5mm, towards the outer shoulder on two of the tyres. They have only been used over winter months. All four tyres undamaged and never had any damage repaired previously. The wheels have some cosmetic surface rust, which is totally normal for black painted steel winter wheels. I would just use them as-is or you can put wheel trims on top, or easily mask the tyres and give them a quick spray over with a can of black Hammerite. I have included some pictures of the wheels on our Tiguan, taken last year so you can see what they look like on. The picture of them loose off the car in the shed doesn't really do them justice - they need a rinse off of dust. The Continental TS850p is an outstanding premium winter tyre. I've had a few different brands and models of winter tyres and I love the Continentals. Selling these now as this car is used infrequently so I have put all seasons on instead to save changing the wheels over twice a year. You can also have the wheel stand for free to store them on if you want it. Collection only from South West Sheffield (S17). Full set of pictures here - Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  5. What's the food like at the Snipe these days?
  6. I rather miss those Snipe curry deals. Shall we do it some time?
  7. Nick P started following Skoda Yeti
  8. You should STILL go back to them. Irrespective of the terms of the 3 month warranty.
  9. One thing I'd say to people who are living with sunroof leaks on these. Pop the covers off each side of the dashboard and see how rusty it is inside. Also take a look at the bottom of your steering column, near the pedals.
  10. I'm curious as to why you didn't reject the car immediately when you noticed the carpet was wet the day after you got it?
  11. The absolute best advice I can give you is get them to take it back and get your money back. Call the dealer tomorrow. Don't delay. It's virtually certain to be leaking at the interface between the aluminium and plastic. See Yeti_Panoramic_Roof_Leak.pdf (yetiownersclub.co.uk) . Seriously, don't entertain trying to fix it. It will fail again. Get your money back.
  12. Take the middle seat out and put a big bag between the two rear passengers. That's what we used to do.
