Snow Foam...which way?
I wondered about this for quite some time. Because my car doesn't get used much and therefore not that dirty, I tend to give it a quick (less than half bottle) going over on the DRY car. Rinse that off and snow-foam again (with the remainder in the bottle) onto the WET car. The car is fairly clean now and I can either move on to the TBM or sometimes I'll just use the lance again but this time with shampoo in the bottle. I'll spray a couple of panels and then wash with a wet mitt / pad and go around the car like that. Not bothering with any buckets at all. A much quicker method that.

Wash Mitt Recommendations
8 years ago when I joined this lovely forum, found this part of it...and got the `detailing bug`. Following advice from very knowledgeable members at the time I set myself up with quite a few products. Among them was a Lambswool Mitt. I still use it occasionally now and its still going strong. I have since got a couple of `noodle mitts` from Halfords and most recently took delivery of a washpad (Incredipad from Polished Bliss). I choose which to use for no particular reason and they all work really well. If you pushed me I'd say the `Incredipad` is my fave...as long as you remember its a `pad` and not a `mitt` and make sure you don't drop it!!!

Less interest Detailing nowadays?...
You may have something there, `Bigman`. I had my Black Magic professionally ceramic coated coz I knew how difficult it was going to be keeping it pristine. But I still enjoy looking after it and coming on here to see how others are getting on. As I said in the OP, I caught the bug!!!

Less interest Detailing nowadays?...
When I bought my first new Skoda back in 2012 I knew absolutely nothing about `detailing` or how to successfully look after the appearance of a car. I soon joined this Forum and `caught the bug`! It was mainly due to the imparted knowledge of `ChrisRs` (remember him?...lovely chap) although there were others instrumental in my education. In those days this part of the Forum was very well used and a mine of information. Lots of useful info being given and received. The posts were numerous and daily. Not so now...I wonder why? Could it be that the Pandemic has caused people to be less fussed with the appearance of their car? That would of course be understandable in the scheme of things. I just wondered. Regards Mike.

Snow Foam...which way?
When you snow foam your car do you do it `top down` or `bottom up`? The reason I ask is that I always do it `top down` because that just seems obvious and sensible. But I've seen a number of video clips by professional detailers and some of them do it bottom up. I wonder why. What say you?

The Superb III Picture thread
That's the very first `Sportline` I've liked the look of. Must be because it's so shiny!

Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel` is a goodun. Does a fab job of cleaning the alloy as well as removing the embedded metal particles as it turns a reddish colour.

Service records
I would if I knew what I was looking for. Is it QI 6 as you wrote or Q16 as above? Why am I asking? I dunno. I'm not at all interested as I have no idea what these `letters / numbers` mean. Please ignore my question.
