Just a couple of shots from today.  It's running the winter rims with H&R spacers at the moment (10mm front, 15mm rear).  I also tried out Adam's Gloss & Guard today.  It went on well and as you can see, definitely made things very glossy.  I'll see how it looks in a few days.

Some great pictures in here, not to mention so great (and subtle) modifications.

I've only been a Skoda owner for a couple of weeks and mostly its been wet and dirty since I got it, so not great pictures, but here's my 2007 VRS :

As you can see its pretty tidy looking for its age, the only bit that really lets it down is the state of the alloys.

So far my efforts have gone into fixing a few little defects like the coolant level sensor and a cracked rear bumper reflector, not to mention cleaning up the decidedly manky interior ! Next on the list is a new rear wiper motor and then maybe some subtle mods, wheel re-furbing and de-badging.

Undecided on the stripe, I quite like it but I am still unsure if it will stay.

For me it’s a thumbs down but modifying is all down to your taste, I’m sure there’s bits I’ve done to mine that others don’t like.

Always liked the Octy in red. Beautiful looking car mate

Just a few pics of the new wheels.  They've been on for a few days and so far I'm very happy with them.  They are Fox MS006, 8x18", ET42 and I've put Uniroyal Rainsport 3s on as they are my current tyre of choice.

I took the photos this morning on my phone so they aren't the best, but you get the idea.  It's taken a while to find a set that is affordable, is light enough and looks right.  After a while these came up and I thought they'd be worth a try.

Comments are welcome.:)

Thanks for the positive comment.  I know they won't be to everyone's taste but I wanted something that hasn't been done to death before.  They are more JDM than VAG but I figured that mixing things up a bit would be worth a try.  The car feels good to drive on them too.  I weighed a wheel before the tyre was fitted and the scales said they were 9kg.  That's not bad for an 18" wheel and I'm tempted to sell my Pro Race 1.2 now as the ride is still good despite the lower sidewall compared to the 17" wheels.

Oh yes i like allot. Good choice dude, my favorate wheels are the rotor grids but you cant get them in vag sizes. These look awsome, they acatualy suit the car better than grids!

It's funny you should mention the Grids as ideally I would have wanted a set of those.  I looked at Bola B1 too but they weren't quite right.  I used to have a 200sx S14 and they look great with a set of Grids on.  Seeing as I can't fit the family in the back of a 200sx, I guess I'm trying to strike a balance between sensible dad car and what I'd really like to have on the drive.
