There seems to be an issue with people being confused as to the "proper" way of adding themselves to this register of Scout owners. A good example of the confusion is the post above where a user has added themselves to the list twice, thus:

If you want to add yourself by quoting from an earlier post, you need to make sure you go the last complete list post and quote from that post. Otherwise, we end up with names going astray. For some reason, Martin above chose to quote from a post in May, which if it had not been spotted, would have easily excluded anyone who had registered since then.
