I don't know if i like the fly eyes kit or not , it looks good from a distance but looks cheap up close, i don't know if i should get the fly eyes or the lamin-x.

Mines lamin x now although I did the fly eyes thing first.

Got to say the Lamin X does pass the up close test and looks oem+ IMO.

It would have been harder to do on the facelift lights though which is why I changed mine.

Fly eyes is much easier to apply generally speaking.

Lamin x is trickier to apply but worth the effort to get a better finish.

I`m sure i`v asked before but what colour is yours? and how much did you need? Did you do the front too?

Thanks

Gunsmoke on the rear, 8 x 12 inch piece. £9.99 it made the equivalent of 5 segments (pre facelift..)

Would probably be enough to part tint one pair of facelift lights on the clear segments I reckon.

But I recommend careful measurement first before ordering.

http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/shop/gunsmoke.htm

Yellow on the front fogs. 4 x 12 inch piece. £6.99

I'm sure I used a discount code. I'll search through some old emails and see what I can find.

does this stuff have to go on the inside or outside then?

On the outside

Brett

Depending on which type you have, either clean or renew your

air filter. You may find that the one in the car is clogged or dirty

and that's why you are getting a bit of extra smoke.

I'll see you on the 13th mate ;)

I'll be having a decent cleaning sess during the day of the 13th - you're more than welcome to come over and we'll treat the ole girl to a pampering session

Me 2. I've got to do it at home though as the Mrs is none too pleased that I'm

gallavanting off to a meet on the only whole evening of the week she's here...

I may be able to use the old Jedi mind trick and get her to come along but I'm not

sure the force is with me enough for that. I take it you're sacking the JKM RR thing

then Gareth?

Fraid so mate, caught between potentially having to quickly pop to work first thing and the need to purchase some new tyres, so I've given up my slot to one of the many peeps on the waiting list.

You're more than welcome to come over for cleaning Garry (I've got the PB black hole at the ready!), but I don't exactly live in a fortress and only have space for 2 fabias at a time on my drive...

Alternatively, we could road trip to Essex (if feeling brave enough! :p)

There's a couple on the Lamin-X website gallery.. a black VRS - headlights in dark tint and a ref VRS - rear lights in light tint :)
