Super Skoda Mods Thread

Recommended Posts

Super Skoda seems to be just about the only site I've found that has a massive list of parts for the Skoda's, so just thought I'd see if we could have this thread so people can post up pics of the mods they've bought so we can see what they look like in real life.

I keep going through a list of parts I'm tempted to buy, but often wimp out last minute as I just can't be sure if they'll look good or not.

To start the thread off, this is the only thing I have got from there so far but please feel free to carry it on:

The best mod for me was, the MEGA powered LED for the trunk:

And the LED-DOME:

Arrived 3 days after I ordered and installed in 30min.

Yes they are a bit hit and miss I ordered a light chrome ring from them ,which did not fit, so ordered one from tezal rings on German eBay which did fit , the aluminium "billet" rings , which go around the 3 climate controls are fine though but no photos of those, but again you can get from tezal rings http://stores.ebay.c...AL-RINGS?_rdc=1 I replaced the switch after, tried to glue superskodas one, but got glue everywhere :doh:DSC00110.jpg

had an awful experience with them, they sent me a faulty item, refused to do anything about it, were generally rude even when I provided them with evidence, and then proceeded to lie about the product!

AVOID!

Be nicer if you wrapped them mate, would look good in 3m di-noc and a relative doddle to do.

The guy that wrapped my grill surround said the mirrors would be an arse to wrap because of the groove that runs round them and that the finish wouldn't be great.

LED interior lights - cost me £15 in modules from my motor factors..........not 44 Euros + shipping........... and I do believe something similar is available on ebay;

Nuff said........

I was interested in the honeycombe grille until I saw it in the flesh and realised what a shoddy piece of tat it was!

To change a well known phrase: "Overpriced and over-there"

Anyone bought and fitted the honeycomb grille for the facelift Octavia VRS?

Having see it a while back and being astonished at the poor moulding quality I decided not to bother. Oh and you also have to cut the bonnet release down as it fouls the grill

Somebody else on here was in a long running battle with Superskoda regarding the poor quailty of the grille..............

Yes - me. No problems with the quality of the part, although I think daz_pd also bought one (months after I did) and the quality wasn't anywhere near as good. Mine is smooth plastic, and his looks like it's been rubbed down with a brillo pad.

Why change the lenses, for the boot, just change the bulbs, mine are superbright and interiors too for a fraction of what you paid for your boot lenses, German e bay
