no time for joyriding, Richard. Get back to the task in hand.

We're all chewing fingernails in anticipation :)

I hope not, you'll have no fingers left!

It's going to be months...

I've got long fingers ;)

As you say, a long way off yet but the donor car is an greenline, yes?

The citigo logo on the tailgate has the GO in green

Subtle idea... How about painting the GO in red ?

Not heard of any myself, but who knows what's out there.

As they've only been making the Up/CityGo/Mii about three months or so I doubt a lot are getting chopped up yet.

Really blazing a trail if you can beat the Up!s

Out of pure curiosity how long is that driveshaft?

It's about the same length as a Fabia one to the offside wheel.

It just looks very long because it's thin and the CV joint was chopped off right on the edge of the picture.

Great to see something starting to happen. Looks like it might end up a bit nose heavy -where's the cooling system going to go?

We are working on that. Behind the bumper would be good and there is some space, but it will also need a large intercooler to get to 350bhp+ for anything more than a short sprint.

Being 4x4 will acually help weight balance as there will be a diff under the back.

Plus some things can be relocated, like the battery.

If we go mad there is the option of a bit of carbon fibre. I'd estimate a saving of 8-10kg just on the bonnet.

Once it's up and runing it can be corner weighted and then decisionss made. But that's a long, long way off yet...
