To remove heater matrix.

You need to remove center consel and clocks, then set about removing all of the screws that hold the dash on.post-55746-0-17570200-1483130847_thumb.jpg These two screws are hidden behined the air bag.

This braket has to be cut and the rivets drilled out.post-55746-0-51273100-1483131613_thumb.jpg

Remove air bag post-55746-0-77269800-1483131465_thumb.jpg Unplug all of the plugs. post-55746-0-97101600-1483131670_thumb.jpg

Then in the engine bay you have to disconet the aircon pipes and the water pipes at the bulk head.post-55746-0-87510700-1483131762_thumb.jpgpost-55746-0-74393800-1483131832_thumb.jpg Also in the bulk head behined the fabric there is seven nuts to undo. Once the whole air system is out you have two nuts on the matrix to undo then then the matrix is free to replace post-55746-0-54967900-1483134332_thumb.jpg.

It takes about 8- 10 hours if you are doing it by yourself

Hello, again, can't believe your breaking after so much good work.

if available? there are a couple of things i need,

1. Air Con pipes, from left hand side of engine returning under the Washer Bottle to the rear Bulk Head, assuming all joints are in tact. One of my Bubble Crimps has split wide open.

2. Genuine front Xenon Level Sensor, part No. 1U0907503A

3. Front Disk Brake Dust cover / Shields for the 312mm Disc, I am assuming they would be bigger than the standard 280mm?

Thanks in advance, good luck with the sale

Jim

I do not have the xenon level sensor as the lights where fitted to the car about two years ago. The dust cover for the brakes are the size of 288 but I can do the air con pipes. Pm me for more details

Thanks for your reply, and Sorry for late response,

I am still researching the best way to deal with the leak, i have one bad joint, the work involved removing the whole lot seems disproportionate to my engineering mind. if all the joints on your system are perfect i wouldn't mind having it on standby, dependant on price etc.

I will come back to you when I've made a few phone calls.

Best

Jim

The front bumper bar has a single pass intercooler on it I can remove it though, and the front panel is yours as well
