The Superb II & FL Picture thread

Recommended Posts

Yesterday i bought me a  2014 FL Skoda Superb 170 4x4 elegance. After 3 years with a leased 2014 Skoda Superb 105 ambition I returned it to the dealer last november and bought me a Nissan X trail. But I missed the superb so I sold the x trail, and now I am a happy owner of a black beauty:-)

I have already been on Ebay and placed a order for some chrome gadgetsB)

This is my Dark CHOCOLATE from Poland. I'm a owner of this car about year and this is my idea for transformation of Superb: rims Monaco Mirabeu 19 et45 8,5j, new stamps, coilovers AP and dark lamps.

Argh I really wanted a dark brown Superb but there just wasn't many around here used in the combo I wanted. Very nice ride.

How are you both running those 19x8.5s w et's under 45?  Must be a 225/35 tire?

My 19x8s w a 45 et and 245/35s are SO close to rubbing in the front when turning. They don't touch tho. Lol. IMG_1177.thumb.JPG.c7914d4b6bac298d80135e245792c653.JPG

My lowering kit is making the car more stiff and is definitely NOT touching when i turn. Et 42 is the lowest on 4x4 on 8,5 . The tires are 235/35-19 and is fitting exactly lined up with the wheel arch.

Here is my Greenline 3 'S' after a heavy detailing session including full paint restoration. I bought it from a car supermarket as a cosmetically unloved ex-fleet car - it looked like someone had cleaned it with a brillopad.

Its all bog-standard and will be staying that way.  I love it!! High 70's mpg on a long run.

Thank you sir. Phone camera doesnt do it justice to be fair.. you can see the shine, but the depth of colour and the metallic blue 'pops' in the sun now.

She deserved it!

You did a good job - the metallic blue with the black trim is a sharp combination.

Thank you - i agree. I may go for a subtle dark tint on the rears eventually but really want to stay close to stock. Having said that, ive seen a really nice black grille which would sit nicely!

Rear tint looks really well and if you keep it close to the standard factory tint, it won't take from the car at all.

I wonder what % tint would be close to factory... 25% to 35% ish?

I think it was around 17/18% on my last Superb and this one appears slightly darker but I'm guessing no more than 20%.
