Octavia Mk2 - Engines, DPFs, Cambelts, Oils, Brakes and Servicing Info

@Okedokey Was very assertive in a past thread about the oil change in the Oil in a OAM DQ200 DSG at 60,000 km.   Quite cheeky to me because of my stupidiy.

Nothing wrong with changing the oil in the MCU as long as done properly, the same with the oil in the box, but it would be good if someone showed where VW / Skoda recommend this, or have advice, guidelines or a schedule showing 60,000 km or under 38,000 or even 40,000 miles.

It's more like 1 or 1.1 litres.

I changed mine a couple of years ago.

Was very dark. Still didn't prevent the body of the mechatronics from cracking and it needing to be replaced and the mechatronics being rebuilt 🫣

Its exactly 1.7.  As per ElsaWin.  If you put in 1L, you probably damaged the unit.

1.7l is the gearbox. The mechatronics takes much less (1l).
