Carmagazine now has a long termed RS mk3, hope that their's escape the cylinder head and or block issues of those experienced by 2016 model owners.

Think Boss Fox had similar issues and an engine replacement with his early built 2016 car.

I presume that car is not running day to day and tracking well with probably a Mounting installed.

Why do Ford continue with launching this boy racer tat, when their RS mk3 owners continue to have engine problems / replacement engines from a poorly engineered product. WTF.

Markcup70,

Latest status of new engine installation.

So is a recall coming from The Blue Oval , globally to sort their troubled Focus RS mk3?

Will this Swansong model have a trouble free engine compared to the2016/17 variety? Would you spend £36k on such, with a 3or 5 year extended warranty ?

Collectors item?

WTF is going on at Blue Oval CS communications with owners.

Reminds me of the Skoda ,VW and Seat 1.4TSI Twincharger saga . See Fabia vRS mk2 threads

So at last the official recall has been announced by the Blue Oval?

Hopefully for owners it's the answer to all the questions raised once and for all.

Private ,expensive solution to the RS mk3 ride quality? Is this one of the elements where Ford saved some of the cost to enable launch price to be below £30 k in the UK
