Look again at the Luke "recovery strap" you have fitted.

From experience of having worked with many of the Rally Recovery operators they will NOT use it, but will always use a solid mounting for their recovery cables.

Your battery carrier needs the top plate insulating to stop it shorting on the battery terminals.

And whilst the matt black looks very nice I suspect that after the first event it will start to look very tatty very quickly, especially where stickers have been put on.

hi thanks for the advice there is  rubber top between the battery and box which i haven't fitted yet needs to be done before log booking .

will have  look at the tow eye the mounting is behind the bumper we will also have a towing eye on the sump guard attached to the sub frame .  the matt black is for my main sponsors new product more to come on that in the next few weeks .

I've lost track in all the awesome photos, what engine's going in this again? Just the 1.0? or something else? What's the power output?

Just the NA engine, some tuning tweaks but there's regulations to adhere to :)

This is just bonkers, huge props though for doing something so involving at such a young age, got any plans to put the skoda badges back on? Quite liked the look of the black badges

just the standard engine  with 1 3/4 inch exhaust with vortex box in the middle and sport cat .

air box removed and induction kit to front bumper. thats all we can change in the regulations  the citroen is 84hp would expect Citigo to be a few more .

We will put fedro Ds3000 pads in the front and have changed suspension struts to adjustable uprights with cast or and camber top mounts .

Regulations are very tight but this make us try and carry as much speed as possible and get the set up right it would amaze you how much a few clicks on the suspension can make to your times . In the last senior rally we competed in we would have finished 4 th over all beating escorts, subarus ,focus with lots more Hp and Power which proves HP is not everything

when we move out of Juniors we can add a bigger engine and a  sadve sequential gearbox .

Car looks sweet pal, something different to the C1/Aygo/108 and the Micras.

You going to be back over here in Scotland next year for the J1000 again? If so, I'll maybe see you at Crail in June.

flocked dashIMG_4575.jpg

mudflaps fitted think i will spray the brackets black

we put the car on the scales tonight  753kg just need to Fit windscreen in (10kg) and sump guard  (10kg) driver and co driver are 160kg so we are on target for 950kg with little  fuel and spare wheel 15kg  should bring us to minimum weight \  still need to corner weight the car and set suspension height .we were a bit worried that car would be over weight but all the weight savings form the start have worked .

Looks like you are going to need to dig a bit deeper in the pocket for your entries this coming year!!

Have you looked at the new Regs for harness length and angles to take into account of FHR's next year?
