I have a 06 petrol 1.6 Ambiente model.   Whenever I use the brakes I can hear a Faint Sshhhh sound but noticeably it gets louder when car is coming to a stop. However its still hard to notice the sound unless you turn the radio off and pay attention. The noise is not from the brake pedal. I think its definitely something to do with the brakes system and has no relation whatsoever to the suspension system.   My brake fluid level and colour is fine.   Braking performance seem not to be affec
