Have you still got the R3 then? How many miles on it? Still enjoying it?

Love it in  many ways, frustrated in a few.

Handling sublime, acceleration  to 60 good.

Seat a bit uncomfortable and cannot find a more comfy replacement.

Max weight with passenger on the low side.

Regeared it, 3 teeth of the back which works well.

What to try the ninja 400 which may be quite a bit better.

Would a 600 fit the bill?

Rather peaky power compared to the 3 id imagine but there is more power

R6 and R1 just feel cramped compared to the R3.

Was hoping there was going to be an R4 with about 55 hp and tuning potential to take it to 60hp plus other nice tweaks.

207 Kg Kerb weight.

Have Honda made virtually no effort to make it lighter ?

I would love a modern day ie 4 stroke version of the RD350LC,  RD500 LC, RG500 etc.

About 170 Kgs, at least 60 hp but up to 100 hp would be nice, a semi racing pose and style, comfortable for someone a bit over 6 ft tall rather than built small for BSB/WSB success ie for riders 5'9" or less.

You might be waiting a while for that... they design what they think will sell, not what Dave from Essex wants do they lol.

207 is okay isnt it? its not huge weight... but you'd certainly notice the difference in power when you wind it up :). dare say the overall weight load will be higher than the R3

I quite liked my FZ6s, Thundercat, SV650S, XJ600s, XJ550 which were all component UJM bikes.

Also the GP500S, ER5, very competent ride to work bikes which one  have some fun on.

The bike I would like to go for is a Triumph Daytona but they are also small like and R6/R1 and also aint cheap.

I am due to have a HMRC BREXIT meeting at Triumph factory on the 18th of September so perhaps have a closer look then and a sit on one and a few other Triumphs.

I think the MT 07 and MT09 are probably the best in Tracer form you probably will not be surprised to hear.   Light, powerful.  The MT09 with quickshift is just mental great.
