After just under 1 mile drive, while Sat idle waiting for the kids school to open the engine rpm jumped up from around 800rpm to around 1200 rpm with noteable tone. I expect a modern engine to spike in cold start up.. Like the choke on a old car.. Until the engine stablises but to remain at this rpm for around 10 mins I find odd without knowing the core reason..
