Just out of interest, do the rear doors clear those arches ok? Have the arches (or doors lol) been cut and shut at all?

The arches are wider but lower and with a smaller cut out, you can see that especially with the tiny wheels...

Was bored and decided to mess about and make the engine flutter cause social media and tv are crap it's a Sunday and well just uuuuuuurrrrrgggghhhhh and this thread lacks banter

So here's a clip of it, should have done a longer one but neighbors being neighbors have Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Eastenders yada yada to watch so don't want to make them end up on their shark week and get all hormonal, so enjoy...

Well the last 2 days certainly have been busy with late nights involved

Clutch now done and converted to single mass flywheel, so it can get boosted now :D

Complete straight through exhaust now, as I took cat back off my tdi for it.....

Part service, oil, oil filter & pickup pipe

Noticed a few other things that I'll need to get asap as didn't notice before due to under tray

So done the clutch yesterday and all was well, put humpty dumpty back together and started it, checked the clutch and then got the dreaded oil beeping, so checked oil level, that was fine, so i though maybe so crap had made it's way over to the pick up pipe, so off the sump came, untill i got to the 2 inner bolts at the flywheel, and being that this one is a single mass now this particular make never had the slots in the flywheel to get better access to the 2 nuts, so improvised with ball end allen key and final won, to my surprise the oil pick up was fine, some little bits of crap but nothing that would make oil warning light go off, so scratched ma head, at this point it's now 2 am, can't start it up as mega loud haha, so had to wait till this morning when heading out to go to Cumbria vag, so oil warning again, thought to myself there is no way that oil pump is goosed as can't smell any burning, so i put it down to a loose/broken wire, traveled 50 miles to meet up with convoy to head down to the event and that's when i stumbled across the problem, the wire was halved, god only knows how so, pair of snips and temp mended, job done, day saved and went to Cumbria, dunno who all went from the forum but met only 1 other member, Mr Dean Jon Andrews..... well Sir it was a pleasure to chat with you and hope to see you at Vag tuner..... Anyways enough of this novel crap, pics......!!!!!!!!

Sorry bud, Aint been able to get access here for a little while and since it's pritty much dry here I decided wasn't going to boher with the thread much, Anyways shes still alive and kicking, Had it up at crail last year for a bit of fun, since then it's been sat up and nothing much has happened, but in the last few days it's covered about 150, and went to a local car meet, just now fixing little issues that's arisen as it's been sat up, push button start has now decided it's not wanting to play ball, but rewired it onto the key again for the time being, exahust snapped so had to throw it back together, typical Scottish weather preventing me from doing it quickly and had to spread the reapir throughout the day due to the weather

After a local car breakfast meet, I decided to go along the road and get a fellow group member out his pit and gave him some moral support and guidance on repairing his car :D
