Parking Ticket Holder

This is obviously not the most critical piece of kit on the car but it's lost its spring! I purchased part number 1Z0867159A, as a replacement, as it said this was for a Octavia/Fabia but it doesn't fit! I found something that said 6Y0867159 is the correct part.Is that right?! and does anyone know where you can get one please!

Do you mean the clear plastic clip bottom right of the windscreen?

 

If so I brought one a while ago, I have looked through my receipts and found one for a 6Y0867159, the description is 'R106 Bracket FO'.

 

It cost 24p + vat so I suggest you go to a Skoda dealer as its not the sort of thing you will find elsewhere.

Had some things done to my car at the garage today, and asked them to fit a new ticket holder on the windscreen (6Y0-867-159). It's not tight against the windscreen and does seem very low down?! I know it's a bit OCD but it's irritating that it's not doing what it should i.e. Hold a ticket!

Thx for this. Mine broke a little while ago. Time to order a replacement. I'd guess that the A pillar trim must be tightly clipped in for it to work.

Nope, it fits against the a pillar metal and should be tight against the windscreen without the trim in place

as said previously its 24p so maybe order 2 in case it breaks again

If I remember correctly the clip is held on with a torq screw behind the trim

It's not tight against the windscreen and is sitting some way from it.You definitely couldn't put a ticket behind it and its as ineffective as the old one! Why are the most simple things the most awkward to fix!
