So she's going on a diet even more.. I've picked up a Audi TTS alloy subframe and alloy wishbones and hopefully be saving +6kgs

Am I right in thinking the wishbones are different size giving more camber etc.?

I'm not sure on that one. I will have to measure them against the steel ones.

So my black Friday order turned up today. The racingline parts are beautiful I dont want to put them under the bonnet lol

So I've got the car booked in at N.A.W automotive for the subframe/alloy arms swap, neuspeed farb and the turbo as I couldn't do the turbo on the drive 

 

Also I've sealed the arb's with c quartz deluxe and hopefully they won't rush so quickly and won myself a flat bottom dsg wheel ( no airbag) of eBay but in the white/silver stitch but going to have it releathered and maybe a red middle stripe at the top

Got the neuspeed rarb on tonight and what a massive difference to the rear. If your doing the mod make sure you've got a new set of rear drop links as the original ones wouldn't come off the standard rarb. I got a genuine set from my local tps at £51

Just read all 11 pages at work on a very boring Saturday very inspiring and reminded me of my 1994 which made into Max Power after spending £10,000 on a £20,000 second hand Beemer. Great work ant.

With having the morning free I've fitted the flat bottom wheel. It came with the white/silver stitch but nothing that a red Sharpie can't fix  

 

It took about 10-15 minutes to do also I've swapped the controls over too

The car went in to N.A.W AUTOMOTIVE yesterday for the IS38 turbo, alloy subframe and the neuspeed farb swap. Couldn't get the alloy wishbones to work as the ball joints are to wide making it a wider track and loads of camber. So just the running the steel ones for the moment.

 

Just need it stage 3 mapping now

So I've been to see Ben at shark performance yesterday and got the car booked in for the stage 3 mapping just over two weeks time.

 

Also I've fitted the vwr billet engine bay dressing kit. I went to fit the vwr oil management system with catch tank and there was a part missing which stopped me but I fitted the catch tank only.

Me too

 

The alloy wishbones are the same size as the steel ones, its the ball joints that are too wide making the car wide track. They will be going on just going to modified them. 

 

The front end feels loads better and flat around the corners but the weather is poo here and wet all the time, plus I cant really boot the car with the turbo on at the minute.
