Lap times as of 2pm during the third and final day of official 2018 MotoGP testing, at Sepang in Malaysia.

 

Testing began at 10am and a dry track, for the first time this week, meant riders went straight out for a time attack. The action concludes at 6pm.

KTM's Pol Espargaro is not expected to ride today, after injuring his ankles in yesterday's fast accident at Turn 4.

Jorge Lorenzo set the fastest ever two-wheel lap of Sepang, just before 12pm. Race simulations are expected on the final afternoon...

I think it was clear last year that it was when it was cool/damp the Factory Yamaha Team were off the pace though the Tech3 where often right up there in those conditions.

 

Sepang 3 days combined times.  Jorge's time was extrordinary, and well done Dani and Cal.    Maverick and Vale were in touch.   Well done Johann.  Jack good too in those cooler and wetter tests.

 

Suzuki competitive.   I think MM was the surprise duffer relatively.

Rules in WSB are doing my head in. Hate those sorts of rules ie rev limits etc.

 

Mind you 1.31 at Philip island on a tweaked road bike is impressive when motions are only 1 to 2% quicker.

 

Hope Folger gets better soon now he is diagnosed.
