Air Con service valves

Does anybody know the make of the air con service valves on a '09 VRS Tdi, and what size caps I would need for the high and low ports.

On the mk2 FL they are on the drivers side towards the front, foward of the wiper resevoir fill. I wouldn't imagine mk2 much different. Follow the compressor piping. They are std Schrader size aren't they?

But should of also added you'd need to take to a qualified air con centre anyway to evacuate and re-charge anyway.  They may well have replacement caps.

Renewed a.c. compressor, evacuated and re-charged gas, caps were missing beforehand, quoted £4.35 each for high and low pressure caps, sounded expensive to me, so trying to find out the size so I can buy off e-bay, they look like push on fit, not screw fit and can come in 3 different sizes.

Just had a reply on another thread that the skoda part no are 357820809B and 357820809C.

Oh right, well done then.. Are you a fridgie then? I could take my caps off tomorrow but from memory I thought they were screw on and probably schrader. Trouble is if they are genuine part only it will be difficult to get cheaper won't it?

No not a fridgie, did not do it myself, done at local vag independent. Given a link, searched airconparts .co.uk caps only 40 odd pence but £5 p&p.
