It looks like a relay box or similar for an after market appliance of some sort. Possibly sound system related but can't tell without more info.

Is the "green pipe" actually a pipe or is it a wire?

Thank you for your answer

So really the green is pipe and goes from the air filter intake connection to the drivers cabin closet and ends there free

Hi there, I'm sorry for taking some time to get back to you. I think the pipe is possibly something the previous owner had fitted, possibly a vacuum gauge. You should be safe enough to remove it and plug the hole in the intake pipe.

Good news then. Just to clarify, that'll be an ultrasonic box to keep the mice away. Looks like its worked, your engine bay is quite clean.

Are you intending to do anything else to your Pickup?

Hello again. So about the whells i asked the dealer about them where they came from but he had no answear,

The wheels are also different size from other felicia (semperit 175/70)

For the hand brake i must work it some days (there was rusty wire rope) and them it will be Adjust (the mechanic says is too high now)

I dont know much about mechanical now am reading (also youtube) so i have to learn.

The tyre size shouldn't be too much of an issue, that size is still within tolerance.

The handbrake system isn't too complicated on these so its a good learning vehicle for you. Good luck.

I m owner of a peugot 307 2002 and a citroen c3 2008, first time diesel engine . My wife became farmer last year so i need a car like pick up .

Felicia ir was cheap and not big, so i hope we made the something right. We will see.It is a used car and know i have to learn about it and about agricultural life too  but i like both of them. I ll try the best and all of my family they already loved that car.

Kind regards my friend

And finally its the end of good luck !!

Yesterday a strange noise came down from the engine . Pressing the clutch noise stops and everything is ok. After about 200 km today i came back from farm, so in the morning i went to mech. He drives it and the result is , problem at gearbox bearings! we change the oils (valvoline) he put a magnet were the oil runs out

 the results= TINY metal FILINGS

at the end , when the oil finishing outcoming more of them

:( so sad . From Monday he ll start the job.

We ll see about the money! but i don t have car now for my new walnut trees to take care them and i have to go there with a c3

Oh i have to say that here in our area we feel so bad about the terror attack at london yesterday.

you have our sympathy

I don't know where those wheel came from, but 175/70R13 is a direct replacement for the normal 155(/80)R13 that lots of Felicias had, as long as it's on a 5.0 or 5.5 width wheel.

As to the gearbox, if it's a 5-speed, ask the mechanic to check if the nut securing the 5th gear cogs is loose.

Dear friend thanks !

Probably you know better than me , so the replacement of the tyres it is going to be after i spend money for the gearbox.

also, yes it is 5-speed (felicia 9/1999 1.9 d). On monday i ll speak with mechanic and i m gonna tell him to check first the nut securing the 5th gear cogs if is loose. Is that nut inside the gearbox, or ? i mean is it necessary take it down of the car?

Thank s again for your answer. I have the pick up and i do nt use it until monday & more, is not good.

Well, magnets only find ferrous metal, which is more likely to be from the gears or gear shafts than from the bearings. Most people occasionally "miss" a gear shift which causes graunching noises, and may take a few flakes of metal off the relevant cogs.

As to the 5th gear nut, if it's still attached to the shaft, it's accessible without dismantling the gearbox.

If the bearing surfaces on the layshaft (#14) are still good (needs inspection), and if such places as bearings factors (specialists in selling nothing but bearings) exist in Greece this might be re-buildable for reasonable money, if you can get the specialist information on setting clearances.

So yesterday i took the car

money: 300 euro

nr 10 & 13 from the national dealer in Greece + the job from the mech

I think it s a little bit expenc but what can i do ,

So the car goes silently now and i m happy, hope nothing else bad comes.

Thanks all for interest and for the posts
