Vertool Force Drive vs DAS 6 pro for Beginner

Recommended Posts

From my searches on here I 'm aware that a few people have the Vertool. Now that it's been available for a little while I wondered if owners could please post their feedback together with any issues they've encountered - none would be good :D

Also would this be a good machine for a newbie like me to learn on. I don't mind paying the extra if it's a machine I can grow into as experience progresses as it would be cheaper than buying the DAS then upgrading later

Any advice much appreciated

The Vertool or Das 6 Pro are both great machines & even thou you say "Newbie" I personally think which ever one that you choose to buy, will be fine for a novice.

I was in the same position as you last year (November) & I purchased the Das 6 pro, from reviews & reading up on the machine with plenty of advice on here https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/417282-what-da-to-buy/

I thought this would be the better machine for me & with the results that I want to achieve without having to buy another DA at a later date. (I'm a weekend warrior type of guy, hobbyist) :giggle: But not a Pro B) I've still yet to use my Das 6 Pro but will do definitely soon, as the weather (summer) is approaching as I'll be using it outside on my driveway to do a full detail as my paintwork is pretty scratch & swirl free if I'm honest & that is due to a very good wash method & hand polish routine.

So to sum up what you is asking! which I think you are on the right track with the machines you have in mind  & I'm sure there are a few members on here that can recommend the Vertool machine just as much as the Das 6 Pro or even the Das 6, your going to want a very good polish & pad combo but definitely get a good polish(s) with the machine as you can always buy pads separately (Hex-logic) etc...

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and pointing me in the direction of your original post on what to buy.

Having done some more reading I'm leaning more towards the DAS as it appears to be a bit more user friendly for a new user. Plus for the same price of the Vertool I can get kitted out with the pads and polishes.

Check on detailing world as there was a group buy deal on the das 6 that got more discount it was an old thread but was still valid when i ordered mine

Just checked it's still valid £99.99 rather than £114.99

Thanks for the link. I'm guessing you are still happy with your DAS ?
