Yeah I did mine, easy enough to remove, be prepared to touch up the chips on it every now and then mind!

I'm fitting a proper black one soon instead, sick of taking it off to re paint, and its done properly too.

I think they really do look better than the chrome at times...

Was the top chrome one easy to remove...? I really want to get mine sprayed in Black...!!

I keyed the chrome using a scotch pad. then primer (rub down) more primer (rub down) gloss black (a few coats with rubbing down in between coats) and clearcoat with more rubbing down between coats.

Ok....I will use the plastidip then...

give it a try painting it.

its quite a simple process, just make sure everything is smooth and matt looking before moving onto the next stage.

Looks good.

I followed pretty much the same process for painting my grille, and it will came off with stone chips.

Ive bought a genuine black one now, but I know you guys cant do it that easy.

Plastidip FTW!

Great looking Furby.  Alloys (colour/design) really suit the car.  It NEEDS green calipers :)

Thanks :)

I was thinking about different colour calipers. Have been reading a bit on the 312mm brake upgrade so will wait to re-paint untill i decide where im going with the front brakes.

I cant paint the rear anything but black as i have drums.

Looks great!

Ever fancied a rear axle conversion to have discs?

I have been trying to find out if a mk1 fabia vrs rear axle would fit.

thank you bud. the problem is that all i need is just the axle on it's own. I have everything else. Suspenssion, discs, brake lines, pads, calippers etc etc...So not point me paying so much just to get an axle and the faf around with selling everything else
