Anyway, I want somewhere to hang my keys while I'm driving.

The latest phone holder comes with a hole for your key.

Part number 5E0 857 630 A BUS.

It fits in the double cup holder in front of the gear lever in the Fabia

Thanks AG Falco

150ps TSI option

Twin exit exhaust

Electric handbrake

Heated screen

Puddle lights

Please NO electric handbrake. Just something else to go wrong and simply un-necessary.

Will from this article in auto express it looks like we have LED front and rear lights , state of the art tech and the possibility of a 1.5 petrol engine .

It is a possibility however for the UK could be slim. The VW Polo is yet to be confirmed with the 1.5tsi for the UK. We will just have to hope, roll on March for the "black and white" face lift  specs.

Problem with that is ... there's other keys attached to my key .... and phone needs to be upside down to charge - so antenna not getting much of a chance to gather up signals (!) and charge cable will be sticking up, and messy looking. I have one of the older ones, that came with the car - and it's now a pen holder in my kitchen !!   Hopeless in the car !  :giggle:

p.s. the Fabia could do with some extra, proper, cupholder capacity. Wonder will that be addressed in the Facelift. Doubt it though.

One touch windows would be a start

Plus electric windows all round in all models except base

Anything else is a bonus

Your dream has come true!   Well part of it , one touch windows all round.

Wonder if the red fascia trim is standard. Like the red stitching on the armrests

Im suprised no one has commented that the hatchback had Mone Carlo trim but there is no panoramic roof anymore

The panoramic roof is in the brochure, wouldn't be surprised if it's option only though.

Rubber rather than heat brittle plastic hoses under the bonnet

A engine, gearbox, electrics, hydraulics and suspension that stay working

A good attitude from skoda repair shops

A proper heating cooling Aircon.  My dad's Discovery is 2002 and still works better at heating  and cooling his barge if a car than Fabia,s AC does.

Stronger lights that don't mist.

Strong fog lights

A cabin that doesn't mist the front screen.

That would be a start.

^^^ Your dad is luckier than many that Bought a 2002 Discovery new or used.

Land Rover, BMW being the owners of LR from 2000 before selling to Ford,

&  now JLR like getting things wrong decade after decade.

Skoda have been producing and evolving the Fabia since 1999, the All New 3rd Generation Fabia Face Lift is the 5th version i think,

maybe even the 6th with face lifts (updates), and they seem to build in the faults each time they 'refresh' with an updated model.

Surely as the model comes up for being 20 years old they have cracked it.  (& it is not just dash panels cracking...)

what's with the cut-out in the spoiler?

and I see the rear-camera hasn't been moved from the handle position.. utterly stupid..

I don't like the rear lights any more.. the black outline is better on the current Mk3.. this revision makes them look naff..
