mk 2 octavia vrs stereo

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

I have just brought a mk2 ocatvia vrs 07 plate, looking to change head unit, had a look around bit confused,

can i just get a head unit and straight swap for one i can listen to my albums on my phone,

would a new unit still make reverse sensors work

Do you have to start wiring items to connect by bluetooth

Just looking for the easy option to swap.

thanks in advance guys

Do you want an aftermarket headunit or are you looking for an OEM or OEM equivalent unit?

If aftermarket, single or double din?

What's you budget?

If you want aftermarket you will need to buy a few things.

1. Iso loom adaptor. Around £40 as it needs to be one which creates a switched live from the canbus system

2. Facia adaptors

3. Aerial adaptor. The aerial is a fakra connector and will need an adaptor
