Android Auto - what's the point?

Recommended Posts

Does someone know if AA (google maps) and radio can work at the same time? So listening to plain AM radio (in the background) and navigate with google maps?

Most definitely.  I do it often.

Same deal with other media sources.

However, u can't use Google Maps and the Columbus navigation at the same time.

U either have Google, or Columbus telling u where to go.

Managed to get both announcing at the same time but should choose which to view.  That said  I still have problems with the system connected.

  • 1 month later...

I have a umidigi z prophone and Android auto is not working at all on my superb... could the problem lie in the fact that Android auto is not available for my country, so I had to install from apkmirror? I'm using the original phone cable , haven't tried another since it's usb-c and not so readily available... Bluetooth works fine for using the phone with the car.

Any ideas are very welcome.

Cheers!
